care/cared/? sat on!

It 's possible to say : "Cared sat on!" or which one would be the correct word?
example: they are even expected to tolerate being dropped or ---- sat on!. I've never heard the word "care" used like "cared" ..is it possible?

Hi, Both phrases just seem to be nonsense. Do you know what meaning the speaker intends? It makes sense if you just omit care/cared completely.

Clive, that phrase is part of a paragraph in a text's book. I can' write the whole page so i used the sentence where i have the doubt. The world to use is "care" only that i dont know if i could say "care sat on! or careD sat on!, or maybe use a derivation of the same world, but i can't omit that word.
Which one could be using the base of "care" talking about opticians and glasses?

Hi,

they are even expected to tolerate being dropped or ---- sat on!.

As an interjection, the single word 'care' is a bit odd..
The standard expression is 'Take care!
eg they are even expected to tolerate being dropped or -- take care! -- sat on!.
