Card transaction

Dear all,

I have a question.

If a store clerk asks a customer if he wants a 'card transaction', then what does he mean?

Does he mean:

a). that the customer can pay by credit card only.

b). that the customer can pay by ATM card only.

c). that the customer can pay either by credit card or ATM card.

Thank you in advance for helping me out on this one.

Best wishes,
