capitalizing part of proper name

Hi,

Please tell me when I should capitalize the part of a proper name and when I should not and just resort to a generic name reference (if that is the term I can use for this).

The ZZZ Children Center is getting bigger and better. Currently, the Center or center has 400 kids who use our facility regularly.

Hi, You can do it either way. However, I would say that such a word is often not capitalized if it is a word that is in common use, eg centre, museum, gallery. Clive

Hi,
You can do it either way. However, I would say that such a word is often not capitalized if it is a word that is in common use, eg centre, museum, gallery.
