Capitalizing

I'm having trouble on some capitalization rules. I'm writinga fantasy story, and in this story there exists kingdoms and magic named afterthe elements. For example there is the Kingdom of Fire, of Water etc. There isalso fire, water, etc. magic.
I designate someone from say the Water Kingdom as Water andfrom the Fire Kingdom, as a Fire. I believe it is correct if I capitalize it inthis way, but can someone confirm this?
For the magics, I’m a bit more uncertain. In the story Irefer to magic as Ether, so would it be correct to type it as Fire Ether, orfire Ether?
Oh and another question, if I’m referring to a place with a"the" preceding it, such as "the City of Time" do a capitalizethe T in the?
