Should I capitalize 'you' when I'm making a reference to God?

Hello Howard If you're addressing the Christian deity, it's common to capitalize "you" and "your" (or "thou", "thee", "thy" and "thine"), but by no means obligatory. e. LORD).

Hello Howard

If you're addressing the Christian deity, it's common to capitalize "you" and "your" (or "thou", "thee", "thy" and "thine"), but by no means obligatory.

Prayer books and Bibles tend to omit the capitals, for instance; though they often fully capitalize "Lord" (i.e. LORD).

This is not an answer to the question, but a notation requesting a correction to the word "referencing" in the title above.
