Capitalization in classification

Hi,

When referring to a defined class in a classification system, it is corect (or incorrect) to capitalize the classification?

For example, when referring to a stong hurricane, is it correct to write "Class 4" or should it be "class 4"?

Note that the criteria for the term are rigourosly and specifically defined in the classification system.

Thanks in advance!
