Capitalization

Hi! Do I need to capitalize "happy easter" and "take care" for the below letter. Thanks, Fulvio

Dear Joe,

A happy easter to you and your family also. Please keep safe. I will be sending you a supply of masks so please look out for them. take care Fulvio

"Easter" always needs a capital. I would capitalise "Happy" too in the greeting "Happy Easter". You could also consider dropping the initial article (in which case "Happy" would be capitalised anyway, by virtue of being at the start of the sentence).

  • "Easter" always needs a capital.
  • I would capitalise "Happy" too in the greeting "Happy Easter".
  • You could also consider dropping the initial article (in which case "Happy" would be capitalised anyway, by virtue of being at the start of the sentence).
  • "take care" does not need any capitals in itself, but in your case "Take" starts a new sentence, so it needs a capital in the normal way.
  • You need some punctuation, or a new line or something, between "Take care" and your sign-off.
