Letter Writing

Capitalization

Hi all,

I've a question. May some one tell me why should we start a sentence with a capital letter?

I mean what does that mean? And if I wrote without capitalization what will the reaction of natives?

I see some poeple in chat rooms or some places like Facebook that they don't. But in general, all poeple should start with a capital letter.

I really like to know the answer. However I always start my sentences with capital letter and I got the habit of it.

First off, I found out that my first sentence of my question was wrong, eh? I mean " May some1 tell me why..... capital letter", right? So that means that I shouldn't use "May" on the first sentence, yes? If not, where was the wrong thing?

And the second, the languages which I'm speaking them ( my mother tongues ) are

Yes, 'May you/he/they' is wrong for requests. You can use these for requests:

May/Might/Can/Could I/we...?

Can/Could/Will/Would you/he/they...?
