Asil Ibrahim I need to know if we do capitalise the w in the expression "Israel-Gaza War/war" I presume you are referring to the 2008-9 conflict. You may be challenged whichever you choose; either is probably OK. A brief online search reveals these alternatives: the Gaza War the Israeli–Palestinian conflict

Thank you for replying to my question. I will say "the 2014 Israel-Gaza War/war", but I am not sure if it has always to be capitalised or not !

Now you are talking about a different event. Since it was longer and left more casualties than the 2008-9 conflict, and since you are including the date to specify it, capitalization is a better choice: the 2014 Israel-Gaza War.
