capital punishment

As for me, I disagree with the author of the essay http://www.123helpme.com/view.asp?id=57199 that death penalty is a good way of punishment for criminals. In my opinion, it is much easy for them to die than to spend all their lives in prison where they are all alone. There is nobody to talk to, to share their thoughts with. That is why criminals start analyzing their actions, all their previous deeds, the way they have spent their lives. They are to answer their own questions what was wrong in their lives, how could they have changed it if it were possible. Having such thoughts in mind day after day they start suffering from such a life. They wish to be sentenced to death penalty, but they have to live, have to think, have to suffer. The way I see things, it is the best way to punish criminals.
