Capital or not

using ltd or Ltd in a sentence

Top answer

Hi I'd say the abbreviation for a private limited company always takes a capital, no matter where it appears in a sentence. I would use 'an' with it and not a full stop immediately after (unless it's at the end of the sentence, of course) - I'm thinking of setting up an Ltd next year. Dave
