Capital letters

Which sentence is correct?

We were watching the full moon yesterday. (In the sky)

Or

We were watching The Full Moon yesterday. (In the sky)

Top answer

The capital letters are wrong, and change 'watching' to 'looking at'. We don't watch the moon, as if we were hoping it would do something unexpected. You don't need 'in the sky': it's never anywhere else.
