Capital letter and indefinite article problem

The below is said by Milton.

What I cannot figure out is why there is capital letter of "Hell" and "Heaven" and why there is a indefinite article "a" without capital letter of "hell" and "heaven."

The mind is its own place, and in itself
Can make a heaven of Hell, a hell of Heaven.

And when I'm writing I'm not sure my using preposition 'of' in the question sentence.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, The below is said by Milton. What I cannot figure out is why there is capital letter of "****" and "Heaven" The capitals indicate that in these places the poet is using the words as names, ie as proper nouns. eg he really means the place called Heaven.
