'Capital' (in British english)

Hi,

Should the t(al) sound at the end of the word 'capital' be pronounced:

1. as in hotel

or

2. as in little

Many thanks if you can advise.

/t/ is not stressed the way it is in hotel. Thats why you don't hear aspirated /t/ in capital, unlike that in hotel.

Vocalized /l/ is also heard in that word.

It has two flags - one for the American and another for the British
pronunciation.
