Capital E for Eve or not?

Hi Everyone,

Just wondering if we put a capital letter for Eve when talking about 'Christmas Eve' in a sentence.
My guess is that eve shouldn't be because the eve of something could be many things. Having said this, I'm not sure because the 'eve' of Christmas is specific.

Thanks

Yes. Christmas Eve is the name of the day, so both words are capitalized. The same applies to Christmas Day , Boxing Day , Good Friday , and so on, even though Day , Good , etc.
