I am assuming you mean you need a very short statement.

You could say:
I'm always tired due to lack of sleep. I get only 1-2 hours of sleep every night.

Since it seems unlikely that anyone could survive very long on only two hours of sleep a night, I'm guessing that when the original poster says "I spend 1-2 hours every night just to sleep" he means "it takes me 1-2 hours every night to get to sleep." (For instance, I go to bed and try to sleep at 10 but cannot fall asleep until 11 or 12.)

This person maybe sleep deprived for the time being, maybe for that particular week! If he does mean that it takes him 1-2 hours just to fall asleep, then you're definitely right.

I hope we didn't confuse the original poster!
