could you help, please?
Are all these modal verbs correct in the below sentence?
In this country you can't / may not/mustn't smoke in public places. It is illegal.
As 'may' is also used to give and deny permission, it should work here as well, shouldn't it?
you may open the window
you may not drink alcohol here
