Can't help but.

Monica: Would you look at them.

Ross: Yeah, can't help but.

What does can't help but mean? And is this usage common?

Thanks in advance!

Helpful link! Thank you, Marius Hancu!

But is it common at the end of a sentence?

Monica: Would you look at them?

Ross: Yeah, can't help but. (Note: it's a full stop after but.)

It's short for 'Yeah, can't help but look at them.'

Not a very common thing to say, no, but it makes sense in the right context.
