Can't do nothing?

I know that 'can't do nothing' is absolutely incorrect in grammar, but some of my friends said the native speakers usually say that to emphasize "i can't do ANYTHING'.

Also i asked my roommate who is an american, he said he never heard about this, so is that just a kind of slang in someplace or most of the natives do say that?

Thanks!
