Can't catch several words here.
Hello guys,
First, I'll start with the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6iwPYyBNHoso I don't forget to provide it again.
I have some problems with the speech in a few places. Again I'd be grateful for your help.
This time it's a nice British accent of Jeremy Irons, a famous actor.
a) Around 1:28 - "We, in this room and _____ today are (...)." sounds like 'roam', 'realm' perhaps?
b) Around 3:35 - "As individuals, we can be_______ compassionate (...)."
c) Around 3:52 - "We saw_______ the G8 that was meant to make poverty history."
d) Around 4:20 - "(..) by global commercial agencies and banks, for example chips on the structural adjustment". Any ideas what the red part means?
e) Around 6:56 - "We do have a UN resolution – the responsibility to protect vulnerable populations against ______ crimes against humanity and ethnic cleansing."
f) Around 7:46 - "(...) through a prompt _____ response based on sound household information."
g) Around 8:10 - " So why ___ that the current Somali crisis take place ad take the world by surprise?"
h) Around 8:36 - "There will be more disasters in the future: droughts, floods, earthquakes and conflicts _________ increases, global temperatures rise and global economic crisis affects the poorest."
Quite a lot actually but I'm hoping to get some help.
