Can't be happy in the future

Do you think you will be happy in the future? The future isn’t here. You can’t be happy in the future any more than you can enjoy tomorrow’s glass of water. If you don’t know how to be happy in this moment, you won’t be happy in the future either.

I do understand the the meaning of the whole context.

But the underlined sentence You can’t be happy in the future any more than you can enjoy tomorrow’s glass of water is not crystal clear.

Any comments will be appreciated.
