Can I say,

(a) The ostrich is a bird who (it) cannot fly / could not fly.

(b) An ostrich is a bird but (it) cannot fly.

(c) An ostrich is a bird who is unable to fly.

(d) An ostrich is a bird but (who is )unable to fly.
