Is the phrase for filming people without them knowing it in funny situation called Candid Camera, or Candy Camera?

The TV show was called Candid Camera.
Possibly there was a rip-off version made somewhere called Candy Camera?
But I think it was a mis-hearing. When you say Candid Camera the final d of Candid tends to get a bit lost, so it does sound just like Candy camera.
