How to use 'among' and 'amidst' in a sentence..

1. That smell really makes me feel 'among or /amidst' the flowers.

2. Your calls really makes me feel 'if/ that' Iam 'among' you.

3. Calls made me feel Iam alive among you.

"amid/st" and "among/st" differ to some extent from each other:

Amidst: denotes "in the middle of" and thus "surrounded by"

"This work was written admidst many interruptions".

The word is often used when the idea of distinguishable objects is not prominent. "They kept on admidst the storm"

Among: denotes a mixing with distinct

I suppose it will be right to say as 'calls really made me feel as if Iam still alive in you'
