Canada is the limits of the US. Does it sound right?

Hello,

If it sound right, does the "is" mean bounds?

The second question is "does "to bound" work on the premise that "the limits of the US have / contain Canada?""

If that so, is to say "The sky is the limit." to say that The limit has / contain the sky. and The sky marks / forms the limit?

Thank you for your help.
