Could you say this, if not how would you please?

2 I was stressed at the though of meeting them.

Are all 3 ok?

- He asked for advice on/about regarding his marriage.

Thank you

"At the thought" or "by the thought" sound okay to me.

"Stressful" would be more idiomatic. Talking to them was very stressful.

Ok thank you

For the first
you would say

It's stressful talking to them.

and for the second

can you say I was stressed at the thought of talking to them?

or would you say
The thought of talking to them was stressful.

Is it THE THOUGH OF or THE IDEA OF TALKING TO THEM?

Thank you

It may be just "me," but I've always found "stressful" to be a wimpy, whining sort of word, compared to "stressed" and "stressing."

1 I was stressed at the thought of talking to them? Okay

2 The thought of talking to them was stressful. I don't like it. With #1, you were stressed on some particular past occasion. It was a real event. With #2, you're describing the thought as "stressful," but we wonder - did you actually
