Hi!
Please tell me can we use the word 'see you' when we use telephone?
The meanings of this question comes from what my image of the word 'SEE' reminds me he being next to me.
People use 'see you' as an easy and familiar way of saying 'goodbye' and don't tend to be worried about it being said on the phone. However, if you stop and think about it, it seems a little odd, but we tend not to over-think it! If it's addressing someone formally then it's probably not the best way of ending a conversation and if you never see the person then it seems a wrong way of saying things.
