- I got taken by taxi

You can use 'get' in that way

The meaning is the same, but in this specific pair the register is different. The first one is in a fairly low register (informal, casual).

You can't take any passive voice construction and substitute 'get' for 'be', if that's what you're asking. There are a number of past participles that we prefer with 'get', but only those. They are often words that indicate that something bad happened, for example, get broken, get torn, get burnt.

Much less likely: get said, get helped, get seen, get amused, get called
Much more likely: be said, be helped, be seen, be amused, be called
