can you tell me what this paragraph means

I agree and that is why I do what I do. However you and I both slip into cars and teeth and subjects as such too easily sometimes and some self restraint on the part of both of us is stuff to remember

I have no idea! The first sentence is clear enough, but I have no idea what it means to "slip into cars and teeth and subjects as such too easily." (Unless it means to start conversing about such subjects as cars and teeth -- which is still pretty mysterious.) It's also pretty odd to refer to "self restraint . . . "as "stuff to remember."
