Can you tell me if this sentence diagram is correct?

I am trying to see if my sentence diagram is correct, but its not working when I try to attach my image.

The sentence is: I love you when you make chocolate cake

I diagramed it as follows, but say that the word is diagonal on a"when" diagonal dotted line connecting "love" and "make", and the word "chocolate" is on a solid diagonal line under the word "cake"

I | love | you

when

you | make | cake

chocolate

Is that correct?? Thanks so much for your help!!

Excellent job!!! As you know, the line between subject and verb goes through the base line. As you said, you were not able to show this.

A particularly astonishing remark considering that it comes from a woman who lived through the excitement of two world wars in France.

Hi

Are you trying to analyse your sentence using the Reed-Kellogg diagramming system?

If you are, then it's unlikely that you'll get an answer here, since it's not a system that has been accepted into the mainstream of sentence analysis.

I would strongly advise you to stick with the conventional ways of analysing clauses.

How do I diagram the sentence: She was talking to me.

In the sentence, "She's very strong." Is the verb, is strong? She l is strong? or is the verb just is?
