Can you say this in other words please?

Hi,

These issues become increasingly contentious as the discourse moves across national boundaries, disability types, and societal reactions.

I need to translate the sentence and I have difficulties with the highlighted part.

The sentence you are trying to understand is badly written. It iis full of muddled jargon, not clear English. At a guess, I would reword the phrases:

"...as the discussion (of these issues) expands beyond the national borders and begins to include a concern with persons with various disabilities as well as how societies react to the underlying issue."
