The pie charts show the coal, gas, petro, nuclear and other energy that were used in France in 1995 and 2005. The each energy production divided by the total is plotted as a percentage.
Overall, the energy from coal, gas and petro are significantly higher than nuclear and other energy, 88.70% in 1995 and 80.79% in 2005. While the percentage proportion of coal and gas energy are not various more; the petro, nuclear and other energy have a lot change in two different years.
In both years 1995 and 2005, the coal and gas energy are almost not change, approximate 30% each item compares to the total. While, the petro energy down about 37% from 29.27% to 19.55%, the nuclear energy increase a similar percentage proportion, from 6.40% to 10.10%. Additionally, there is a considerable rise nearly 50% of the other energy from 4.90% in 1995 to 9.10% in 2005.
In conclusion, the energy productions that French using almost are the coal, gas and petro; but there is a change in 2005, when the energy from petro noticeably decrease, the nuclear and other energy are used more and more after 10 years.
