I have a good friend who is interested in learning English but he is now an adult but he didn't have ANY English lesson when he was in school so practically he is starting from ZERO. But he is a practical person so he is not looking for detailed grammars or theories, he wants to learn practical words, vocabulary items, common expressions so that he'll be able to pick it up quickly and use it in daily life.
