Can you please tell me which word to use in Phrase?

Could you please tell me which word to use in sentences or how to properly say them?

1 I've never been this/so happy to go home. BOTH
2 Even though/if we're sleeping in a bed, it's less confy than a couch.
3 I don't know how season one ends let alone/even less season 2.
4 Why keep the food when it's outdated/expired?
5 There is too much ice in relation to the liquid/compared to the liquid.
6 The saying "don't judge a book b its cover" orginated from/after reading this book.
7 Did you become what you wante to become/be when you were small?

#3, "let alone" is correct. "Even less" does not work as a phrase here. You would usually use "even less" as "even less than" as a comparison. Therefore, you could say "I know what happens in season 2 even less than I know what happens in season 1, and I don't know much about season 1 at all."

Upon reading it again, #5 is correct but awkward. "Too much ice for the liquid" would be the more common way to say it.
