Our names…our names are still there, carved on the wood. So clear and polished almost too fancy like a Garnished marble. Everything is just the same, nothing changed ….ten years ago, we used to sit here, in the biggest classroom of the school, under the table each break.”Melody, look what mom gave me today” said Adam under his breath. “Wow! That’s a really sharp pen! “I said while taking the pen from him “and it has your name on it! Eyeeeluvit!” the pen symbolized Adam to me, It was as sharp as his sparkling green eyes highlighting my deep dark brown eyes. His eyes were so bright and sharp that it burnt my eyes every time he looked at me. “oh I’ve an idea!” he said excitingly “since my pen is so sharp as you said let’s try carving our names on this wooden floor “he smiled at me, I smiled back and said “oh what a great idea! Are you sure we won’t get in trouble though?” “For sure not, since we are only writing the first letters of our names . Don’t you worry” he winked at me.i gave him a coy and exciting smile “go for it ! heh” he started carving the letters… its said A , a heart , M and a title of “Under the table , our secret place” “Perfect!” I said looking at it. “Yes! haha I hope it stays here forever” he said starring at it too. I moved my head into his direction, so I can look at him from a perfect angle ”I hope too” he smiled and said “Now let’s go , the break is almost over , hurry before we get caught” he said while checking if the whole way is free from any teachers. “We will come again tomorrow?” I said expecting his answer “we’ll every day, this is our place” he winked at me…his innocent child look almost had me head over heels for him.”Now hurry, I can hear them coming” he said while grabbing my hand.
The memory of these days is so clear in my head, it feels like yesterday we were just checking out the pen his mom gave him. I’ve this weird feeling, not sad almost happy but painful …I miss him. I miss being a kid and hiding from teachers under the class room tables with my best friend. A mysterious green eyed guy with black hair like cascades entered the room. He walked towards me. His eyes starred at me with curiousness .They were so bright and breath taking. I started having butterflies…almost the same feeling I had when Adam used to look at me.”M-m-elody?!” he hardly spitted out the letters of my name. But how does he know my name? Could he possibly be Adam! Oh my goodness… the thought of this made me answer him with a similar question without even thinking “Adam!!” my heart was almost died of excitement. He suddenly lifted me off the ground and started spinning around. This is almost like a dream, too happy to be true .one of the happiest moments of my life! He put me back on the ground, but I still wanted more so I dove back into his arms. “ Meliiie , meliieeee … how I miss you! “ he said while tightening his arms around me. “Been waiting for this moments for years!” he muttered “Me too, Me too!! And here we met again …in our secret place, remember?” I gave him a cute evil look” how could I possibly forget! These were the best moments of my life “He had a big smile on his face that almost brightened the room. “you are still the same , nothing changed about you, well except your hair is longer ,and your….woah you are so pretty ” he sweetly said. I blushed hard .as if I were never called pretty before, from him its do different! “haha , you didn’t change either except your eyes are lot more brighter and woaaah your handsome” I said laughing.”haha, let’s go somewhere ?maybe talk a bit and have dinner together ?” he softly asked “sure!
