Tough week 4 Favre

Last week was pretty tough for Minnesota Vikings’ star quarterback Brett Favre.

First, the Vikings lost against the Green Bay Packers. Favre threw three costly interceptions and got not one, but two fractures to his surgically repaired ankle.

Next, Vikings head coach Brad Childress revealed that Favre was in a walking boot and could possibly miss the upcoming game against the New England Patriots, which would end Favre’s impressive 291 consecutive starts. “I wouldn't put anything past me, to be honest with you," Favre said.

Then, Favre missed his second straight day practice last Thursday, but he walked around the facility without the oversized boot on. He's been a little better every day," Childress said.

Finally, Sunday came and Favre managed to start for the Vikings and actually performed very well. Favre was 22 of 32 for 259 yards with one interception in the Vikings’ 28-18 loss to the Patriots. The Patriots knocked Favre out of the game.

Favre was carted off the field after taking a hit to the chin by Patriots’ defensive lineman Myron Pryor. Later it was reported that, Favre left the game due to a laceration to his chin and possibly a concussion.

And if that is not enough for the old gunslinger, Jenn Sterger has decided to speak with the NFL about Favre allegedly sending her lewd photos and text messages. Sterger's lawyer was quoted saying that “Sterger will meet with NFL officials this week.”

Is Favre in store for another tough week? Only time will tell.
