Can you please help my with the grammar

I was driving on M freeway the L side of the lane. There are three lanes on the M1 freeway. While I was driving along suddenly a car was driving behind me hit my car on the R side of the back of trunk

When I looked on the mirror I saw the car was moving to the other side of my lane on the R side then quickly moved to L lane and exited the freeway to St Albans Rd, Nil other car was driving close distance to my car. I quickly indicated and follow the car just exit the freeway and he stopped and waited for me to come up to his car.

I stopped my car and walked to his car then I asked why did he bump into my car he said “ it was my fault I was tried to change the lane didn’t see properly so I hit your car”
