Can you please correct this text for me! Should I change something in this text?

Hello dear ????. I met you yesterday at the entrance of electrical engineering department and I asked you about possibility of doing summer internship in your research group. You kindly told me to send you my CV so you can evaluate my competency.

I have attached my CV in this email for you. I would appreciate it if you could inform me later on whether or not there is any possibility for me to do an internship under your supervision?
