Can you please correct my introduction part?(essay) thank you in advance!
Society has throughout the history wondering what is the main purpose of life and trying to define the happiness. For the contemporary society the answer, so-called the formula of happiness simply relies on subjective well-being and wealth (Agarwal, 2015). Per se, an individual’s happiness has no universal definition and everyone has its own formula of happiness. According to Aristotle doctrine in “Nicomachean Ethics”, happiness can be distinguished by the three types of life: the life of enjoyment (pleasure), public (honor) and the life of contemplation (higher purpose) and all of them achieved by means of the life of money-making (p. 6-7). Moreover, Laozi and Emerson in some extent support Aristotle’s view about the concept of happiness. Still, living one type of life is not sufficient for modern world anymore. Only a golden mean of these three types of life is exactly what contemporary society is seeking for full happy life, thus these types of life lead to strong health, social acceptance and wisdom to be truly happy, respectively.

Thank you for your comment!I'm already finished my essay, the task was to write a literary paper using all readings which we did in class. My question was: how the formula of the happiness looks like for contemperary society? And I know that something wrong with my first sentence. I don't know how to correct it.
