Hi again,

Here's another sentence, actually I have two versions of the same sentence. Your suggestions are more than welcome:

Although the fruits of human labour and wellbeing can be distributed on the basis of force, they can't be efficaciously and effectively created(?) and enhanced(?) on the basis of the same principle. (more literal translation)

or

Although the fruits of human labour and wellbeing can be distributed forcefully, they cannot in the same way be efficaciously and effectively created and enhanced.

I guess I have problems with word order here.

Mostly, I would dump either 'efficaciously' or 'effectively'-- for the mass of men, one of them is redundant. The whole thing seems not to be thought through. 'Wellbeing' is also a fruit of labour. (And frankly, the fruits of labour have been equally forcefully and efficiently created in many a culture.)

However, if I were translating, I would go straight to:

'Although the fruits of human labour can be forcefully distributed, they cannot be forcefully yet effectively created or enhanced.'

Thanks Mister Micawber. I agree, but you know, what can one do about it.. I was confused withwellbeing, I guess the sentence won't lose much of its original (non)sense.
