Can you please check this formal e-mail for style errors?

Respected Sir,
I have read the entire 'Malgudi Days' collection of short-stories as instructed. Therein I have not found any mention of 'The Financial Expert.' So, I searched for it on the internet. However, I found out that 'The Financial Expert' is a separate novel, and not a short-story. In that case, my question is, are we still supposed to prepare our presentation on 'The Financial Expert?'

Thank You.
Regards,
XYZ.

To use "Sir" is to be formal, so I would use "Dear" with it and follow it with a colon. Therein I have not found any mention of 'The Financial Expert,' so I searched for it on the internet. You wrote a nice email.
