Communication is two way reciprocal process of transferring information from a source (sender) to a receiver by using a medium (channel). It connects all organizational activities. Everything an organizational does require communication. For example In the production process, all the steps rely on communication from getting the idea of a new product, convince an investor, negotiating with supplier, and dealing with customer. Think organization is an unity that has certain goals. To achieve the goals it need contribution of everyone in the organization, they must work together hand in hand and communicate each other. Everything that a manager does involves communication. In making decision a manager should collect facts with the lower level employee’s help and analyze it. He also should consider the employee’s idea , sometimes the lower level employees have more knowledge about the customer that they deal with. It doesn’t matter how creative your idea or how fine your plan, without communication, tell it to your supervisor, it won’t taken form. And after the decision is made, communication must take place again. Otherwise , nobody will know about the decision.



To minimize the impact of any crisis, Ineffective communication can bring bad effect on management, it lead into a serious problem.



The key task of an expressive organization is to communicate its identity to its internal and external audiences (Cleggs , 2004).When an organization communicate, they establish a relationship. Today people buy goods not just considering the product itself, but also the intangible assets. Coca cola is more than a drink , it has become an country-region u1:st="on"> icon. It creates many innovative, creative commercial and slogan to achieve it. Another example is when soup launched its soup for one, a single-serving can of soup, it didn’t do well. Then trough a research, many participants called it the “lonely soup”. They liked the product but hated the name, because it reminded them that they would be eating alone. Even a good product can send the wrong message.



It is important to understand that an organization express itself through various activities: its employee’ behiour, its physical design (including uniforms, retail outlets, buildings, etc.), its corporate identity (logo, Web page, etc), its advertisement, its strategic intent, its involvement in community activities, and so on.(cleggs,2004)



In order to compete successfully with its competitors, an organization has to create a strong corporate identity reflected in the corporate brand (Hatch & Schultz , 2001). Brand is a symbolic construct created within the minds of people and consists of all the information and expectations associated with a product or service (wikipedia.org)Some people see brand as an important value added, so they are willing to pay more for branded product, because of the quality of the brand and the reputation of the brand owner. Company struggle to build global brand. For years company in Taiwan making things that other companies sell, focusing oncutting costs and shunning expensive investment in branding. That something KY Lee, chairman and executive of BenQ corp, want to change . So they set out risky strategy of creating a global brand from taiwan’s tiny base and making it pay. And it does.



The Carl Popper theory explain the communication as the net which we throw out in order to catch the world--to rationalize, explain, and dominate it. Narumiya Internasional, a tokyo company sells expensive,bright coloured clothing, specifically to young girls, sponsors six fashion magazines such as Nicola and Pichi Lemon. They do it in order to make sure young girls keep buying new clothes. When the young girls see the advertisement they may want certain clothes. Then they will go to the store and get it. Narumiya International even held marketing event designed to encourage girls to buy even more. Girls were invited to take picture with the magazine models, only with ¥ 5000 worth of product purchases.



The organization incolvement in community service can also bring good impression. Mc donalds support Ronald McDonald House Charities which offer scholarships to students from communities who face limited access to educational and career opportunities. Ronald McDonald Care Mobile Programme which brings cost effective, high-quality medical and dental care directly to underserved children in both rural and urban areas. By provide immunizations and health screenings, oral health services, diagnosis and treatment of chronic disease and health education to children who would otherwise go without health care.



Internal communication shapes how employees represent the organization to outsiders ( Cheney and Christisen 2001). The employee behaviour can express the organization stand for. As the body shop state “The Body Shop has always believed that business is primarily about human relationships. We believe that the more we listen to our stakeholders and involve them in decision making, the better our business will run”.

Internal communication can be divided into two categories



Disney company understand that their success depends on their ability to communicate not only with their customer and investor but also their employee. They conduct “I have an Idea” program so customer can contribute their idea to the company. And as the reward the employee can win up to $10.000 trough this programme
