It is generally believed that some people are born with certain talents, for instance for sport or music, and others are not. However, it is sometimes claimed that any child can be taught to become a good sports person or musician.

Discuss both these views and give your opinion.

It is considered by some that children are born with certain talents while there are others who think that any person can learn to become a good athlete or musician. Despite the fact that many famous sports people or composers are brilliant since they were children, I believe that if children are willing to learn they are still able to be good at music or sports.

On one hand, people often have the concept that only talented children can be successful in music or sport and others are not. The truth is in our lives, many musicians and athletes are talented and draw people's attention during their childhood and many of them really succeed in music and sport when they grow up. Hardly and even no children who are not really special in these subjects can become a good sports person or musician. In history, Mozart and Beethoven are two of the most famous musicians and they are claimed to have been talented since they were small.

On the other hand, some argue that any child can be taught to become a good athlete or musician. Nowadays many people join music classes and sports centres. After a period of time, they can catch up with and even better than talented ones. Mud wrestling is a special type of sport in India that regardless if children are talented or not, parents can send them to special classes and training. If a child really puts his effort into learning mud wrestling, they can be a professional wrestler with a high salary and he can even join the Olympics. This is an example that children can be taught to be good at music and sports.

In my own opinion, I think that nowadays people can easily learn to be a good athlete or a composer. These days, people can easily join classes and learn all the skills that they need for music and sports. A friend of mine loves to become a singer but she is not so talented so she joined a music class. After a year she can sing beautifully and pretend to have a career in music.

In conclusion, talented children can be good sports people or musicians but it does not mean that other children can not learn to do that.
