There once was a girl sweet smart and strong
there was once a time where we would never go wrong
I would never go to sleep without the longing of your voice
but I see that you have made your choice

we talked and talked till we slept away
till daybreak and nights decay
forever and ever I sat there and lay, thinking of just what we could be

I love you my darling, and I thought this couldn't go wrong
I hope you are feeling okay.
I know you don't feel the same way.

so I say goodnight,
I hope we can be best of friends
because Ayaah I will love you till the end.
