Can you picture the situation and understand what I'm saying

Can you picture the situation or understand what I'm getting at. How would you phrase these sentences please?

- Even with a bad internet connection, the videos load faster than they play. Sometimes they play faster than they load, which makes the video stop as not enough content is loaded to play the rest.

- The ipod battery won't die in the middle of a song but right when the song starts as at that point it uses up the most energy/power.
(when you are almost out of battery and you're in the middle of the song, you are sure that'll it'll play until the very end but right when it's about to start playing a new song that's when it'll die as thats when it uses the most power???)

- Only half her nail has nail polish on it as she hasn't taken the nail polish off in a while and the nail has grown in the meantime.

Thank you
