If you have only one question -------------- I have a question. (singular)

If you have more than one question ---------I have questions. (plural)

1- what is different between :

i say : he likes copffee or he is like coffee (Coffee is the right spelling. No "p")

If he likes coffee, he enjoys drinking coffee. He thinks that coffee is good.

But if he is like coffee, he is very similar to coffee. He looks the way that coffee looks, smells the way that coffee smells, and tastes the way that coffee tastes. He has the same qualities that coffee has.

So it's better to say He likes coffee. (Unless he is very strange!)

Another example: If he likes dogs, he enjoys being around dogs. He appreciates dogs.

But if he is like a dog, he probably has four legs and a tail, and hears better than people hear. He has the qualities of a dog.

2-can i say : he has been hading a lunch> (having, not hading)

I'd want to say:

He has been having lunch. (He has been eating lunch.)

or

He has been having his lunch. (He has been eating his lunch.)
