Can you help with the writing: Common Sports Injuries

The (most?) common injuries in soccer are the muscle tears, micro painful lesions that force the football player to take a rest. The parts of the body most affected are legs, abdominal and back. To prevent this kind of problems, the player has to do stretching and running before entering in the soccer field.
A more serious problem is the fractures, that leave the player at home for a long time. There's no way to prevent fractures, it's an event happens during the match, and the breaking ligaments of the knee ends player's career.
There are other minor kinds of injuries, but, given their light dangerousness, the player can continue the match.

Yes, muscle tears and micro lesions are the same thing. Micro lesion is another word for a small tear.

Thank you. Not sure why I can't find the term anywhere. Should it be: The most common injuries in soccer is muscle tears that force the football player to take a rest. And: The common injuries in soccer are mucle tears. Please confirm this.

If you Google muscle tear or micro lesion you might find some more information. That's how I found out.
Yes, the most common is correct; however, whenever you write injuries, because it is plural, you need to use are. So the first sentence should read : '' The most common injuries in soccer are muscle tears that force the football player to take a rest
