Can you help my correct my mistakes in these letters, IELTS GENERAL

TOPIC1 :You traveled by a long distance bus recently and your suitcase was damaged.

Write a letter to the bus company. In your letter :

- inform the bus company of when and to where you traveled
- describe your suitcase and what happened to it
- explain why the company should pay for a new suitcase

Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to you to complain that my suitcase was damaged while I was travelling from Da Nang to Quang Binh last week using bus service of Phuong Trang Company.

My suitcase was a gift from my father on my 20^th birthday party. It is band- new. This was the first time, I had use it for travelling. It is the rectangular shaped suitcase, black in color, made by Japan. It is a product of Tavi. However, when I received my luggage back from your staffs, I was so shock. The bottom part of my suitcase was torn down. Moreover, the wheels on the left side of suitcase were broken down.

These happened due to the carelessness for your staffs doing duty to passengers’ luggage. They put my suitcase into small luggage box and pushed forcefully which lead to damage of my suitcase. I can’t use this suitcase anymore. Therefore, I want your company to give me full payment of it prices by cash promptly.

TOPIC 2: Write you are going to spend some time with your Scottish friend, Douglas next Saturday

Write an email to Douglas. In your email, you should :

- Arrange to meet Douglas next Saturday

- Suggest something you could do together

- Say how long you will be able to spend with him

Dear Douglas,

How are you ? It’s long time we haven’t met each together. I miss you so much. There will be a party at my home next Saturday, I wish you could come and join with us.

This party is held to celebrate my younger sister ‘s birthday. It will begin at 6 p.m and last until mid-night. We have a barbecue party in my garden which has been decorated by colorful lights and flowers. We will grill the fishes , vegetables like corns, potatoes, sweet potatoes and beef. I know you love these types of food most, so I think you will have delicious meal in this occasion. After that, we intend to go to sing karaoke together. It ‘s a chance for you to sing your favorite songs with us, especially English songs. We can eat some snacks and drink soft drinks or beers here. Thorough the party time, we can chat , I hope I can hear the latest news of your life.
