A volcano erupts the same like the science project I am doing for the science fair . During my research I found out that the volcano model with the vinegar and baking soda will shoot out higher then the one with soda and mentos .One of the things I also thought I needed to research for my project was what type of clay I should use for my volcano model. I want my clay to not dry but still look great and that was modeling clay.When I was researching about volcanoes, I found out that there are more than just one type of volcano.There are composite volcanoes, cinder cones, shield volcanoes, and the one people know more are the lava domes ect.Volcanoes help the earth when they erupted the lava then hardens and makes new land,(Hawaii is a volcano island.)But lava is dangerous because it is so hot that it can melt a rock.
