Can you help me to translate a certificate?

I'm translating an educational certificate from English (English is my second language), but I just can not understand the meaning of the subject. This person has completed an extension courses on the following subject:

"Pedagogical Innovations in Teaching Ethnic Series of Disciplines"

(this course is attended at State of Israel, Ministry of Education)

I realize that you will not be able to help me with correct translation into my native language, but could somebody elaborate what is the meaning of "Teaching Ethnic Series of Disciplines". I just can not wrap my head around it...
Thanks a lot!!
Best!

I don't know, sorry. It's a very vague expression.

To me it barely seems grammatical. I don't know what "Series of" is adding. Does it just mean "Teaching Ethnic Disciplines", I wonder -- i.e. subjects somehow connected with ethnicity or ethnic issues?

The only thing that makes any sense is some variation like this one:

"Pedagogical Innovations in Teaching Ethnic Studies as a Discipline"

I think it was a printing error.
